Artist update:

  As I anticipated and for the most part was prepared and ready to make an adjustment, the powers that be at the Denver art Museum after keeping an eye on me, finally made a decision that I couldn’t be on their property drawing portraits and mostly, promoting myself as a artist and talking about my work.

  A very nice security guard came out and sat with me explaining the Museums position. He almost seemed apologetic if not sympathetic as to what I was trying to do. Not wanting to alienate myself from this great Art Museum that I am a member of and always enjoy greatly wondering the many galleries viewing a nice collection of work as well as the many touring exhibitions they have yearly, I agreed to a compromise.

  So the compromise that we decided on was for me to set up a presentation of me working on portraits as well as promoting this old undiscovered old Artist was to set up on the grass area indicated in one of the photos. It really isn’t far from where I was, it just made for an easy set up. Now I have to come up with hopeful a fairly simple mobile display that incorporated seats and everything I need to accomplish what I set out to do.

   This might take a week or so for me to put together. So for you that still might like a free portrait and Art conversation, watch for me on Saturdays and Sunday very soon.
